Canberra centres Jarrod Croker and Joey Leilua both sent a loud and clear message to Blues HQ with big performances in the lime green on Saturday night.

Both men have been in the State Origin   Live  conversation for a couple of years now — Croker in particular — but are yet to get a look-in for their state. They played starring roles as the Raiders rolled the Warriors in the nation’s capital.

The highlight of the match was a stunning trysaving tackle from Croker on Warriors fullback and opposing captain Roger Tuivasa-Sheck in the 37th minute.RTS had broken the defence and was gunning for the tryline. He looked certain to score until a flying Croker came out of nowhere and wrapped Sheck up, rolling him into the in-goal but somehow keeping the ball elevated off the turf.

It was a game-defining moment.“He’s done that sort of thing a number of times for the Raiders, Croker,” Fox Sports commentator Braith Anasta said.

“He’s not underrated anymore because we expect it from him.“Apart from his attack, his defence, and leading from the front ... you talk about a captain, that could be a big moment.

“It was an enormous effort.”Croker is one of the NRL’s most reliable centres and also provides a safe option kicking off the tee.The calls for him to represent NSW have been going for years, but are growing louder by the season.

Leilua was back to his dominant best on Saturday night and scored two strong tries, busting his way over the line against a couple of defenders on both occasions.

NSW legend Steve “Blocker” Roach told Fox Sports Leilua has to be in the Blues side. He’s also in contention for an Australian jumper for next month’s Anzac Test.

“Virtually unstoppable,” Roach said of Leilua.“He deserves his go (for NSW). Some will say defensively (he’s not up to it), but this bloke’s a ball runner, he’s a powerhouse.

“Pick blokes that Queensland won’t want to play against and I’ll tell you what, they won’t want to play against him.”

Stuart has often commented on Canberra’s lack of representative players, but told The Daily Telegraph this week he doesn’t care if no Raiders are selected for NSW this year. There’s seven in contention — State Origin Rugby Live Stream Shannon Boyd, Junior Paulo, Jack Wighton, Leilua, Croker, Blake Austin and Aidan Sezer.

Boyd appears the most likely to get a Blues jumper alongside Croker and/or Leilua, having represented the Kangaroos already.“We probably won’t get a player picked and it doesn’t bother me one bit,” Stuart said.

“Look, I’m not comfortable talking about representative football because I know how hard it is as a representative coach and Laurie is a mate of mine.

“But it will probably be like every other year. They will just use us up in the City-Country and the exhibition games.”The final Anzac Test between the Australia Kangaroos and New Zealand Kiwis will be played at GIO Stadium in Canberra and this is The Roar‘s ultimate guide to streaming the match online, watching it on TV or listening on radio.

The match is scheduled to kick-off at 8:05pm (AEST), with the Kangaroos out to back-up their 2016 Four Nations success, when they beat the Kiwis heavily in the final. It also begins the build-up for both sides in a Rugby League World Cup year.

How to watch on TV While Fox Sports have shared the rights to every regular season game, they aren’t allowed to show State of Origin, the grand final, City-Country or the Anzac Test.

That means the only way to watch the game on TV will be through free-to-air broadcaster Channel Nine, who hold rights to three games a week during the season and every match during the finals. Nine will broadcast the match right around Australia, through either Nine, Gem, Go or Southern Cross in regional areas.

Be sure to check your local guides to find out which channel it will be shown on in your local area.Channel Nine’s coverage of the Test will start at 7:30pm (AEST) which is 35 minutes before the scheduled time for kick-off, allowing for a comprehensive pre-game match.

Their coverage is scheduled to run until 10:30pm (AEST). The game should end just before 10pm, which means they will remain on the air for about half an hour after its conclusion.

How to stream online
Becuase the match isn’t being broadcast of Fox Sports, you won’t be able to live stream it via Foxtel Go, as is the normal case for every regular season match.

Instead, there will be only one legal way to live stream the match which will be through the NRL Digital Pass. This can be used on any device you own.

It does come with a two-week free trial, but after that it will set you back either $2.99 a week of $89.99 for the entire year. It will give you access to every match of the regular season, finals, State of Origin, Anzac Test, City-Country and Pacific Tests.

Of course, The Roar will be providing a live  State Origin 2017 Live Stream  blog of the match, and The Roar TV will have highlights during and after the match.
